First time at Eelmore - it's an up-and-down circuit. Up is headwind, down is tailwind, a mile all round. Thus nothing managed to stay away. I was in several breaks, a couple were quite good, but it came to a bunch sprint. My back wheel skidded out on the final hairpin and I lost 10 places entering the finishing straight, which was kinda crucial, and finished just outside the places. But I really had fun and they're a friendly lot down there. My legs are still pretty tired from the stage race and I need to have a good rest before sunday's race at Kenardington.
