Comment by DavidR on May 8, 2008 at 4:58pm - Apparently that's the main reason they stopped racing there... slightly 'relaxed' attitude towards safety... if only 'Safety Dave' from the track had been involved, things might have been a lot different!

Comment by Steve Sorba on May 8, 2008 at 3:51pm - I saw the likes of Jackie Stewart, Graham Hill, Nicki Lauda and Jochen Rindt race there in the late sixties early seventies. Only trouble was you sometimes felt that they were about to join you on the terracing.

- Ah, a 1967 BRM P261 with H16 engine, it never actually raced at Palace though...
